Refund policy

Our premade drop pieces are subject to a 14-day statutory withdrawal period, starting the day after you receive your item. If one order is delivered in separate shipments, this period starts after you receive the last item.

You may inspect and try on the garment as you would in a shop. You are responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to assess its nature, characteristics and fit. Any deduction will reflect the actual reduction in value and will be explained.

To notify us of a return, contact info@dvstudios.nl or use our online return and cancellation function. You may also use the withdrawal form below. Please include your order number or other proof of purchase so we can identify your order. Prior approval is not required.

You pay the direct return shipping costs when exercising your right of withdrawal. Please retain your proof of postage. Original packaging is preferred but not required.

Damages and issues

Please check your order after delivery and contact info@dvstudios.nl if you receive the wrong item, discover shipping damage or experience a fault. Please include your order number, a description and, where possible, photographs.

Our garments are reconstructed by hand. Intentional distressing, raw edges and characteristics of the materials used are shown or described on the product page. These do not exclude your statutory rights.

A fault may include stitching or an attached panel failing prematurely during normal use because of faulty construction. Normal wear and tear, paint stains caused after delivery by the customer, accidental cuts and damage caused by improper care are not manufacturing faults. These examples are not exhaustive, and statutory rules on evidence apply.

For an incorrect or faulty item, we provide the remedy required by law: free repair or replacement, or, where applicable, a price reduction or refund. Necessary return costs are covered by us. As each piece is unique, an identical replacement may not be available.

Your statutory rights can also apply after wearing or washing. We do not offer an additional commercial guarantee.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to garments made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised for you, such as pieces made to your personal measurements. Where this exception applies, we inform you before purchase on the product page or in your custom order proposal.

Being handmade, one of one or produced after ordering does not, by itself, remove the right of withdrawal. Premade drop pieces, including sale items, remain eligible.

Your statutory rights regarding faulty or incorrectly supplied items also apply to custom-made pieces.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges for sizing or preference. You may return an eligible item under the withdrawal procedure and place a separate order, subject to availability. This does not affect your statutory remedies for faulty or incorrect items.

European Union 14-day cooling-off period

For eligible purchases, you may withdraw within the period described above without giving a reason. The conditions and custom-made exception explained in this policy apply without restricting your mandatory consumer rights.

Refunds

We refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice. We may withhold payment until we receive the returned item or evidence that it has been sent back, whichever happens first.

For a full-order withdrawal, we also refund the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Additional charges for a more expensive delivery method are not refunded. For a partial return, original delivery costs are not refunded.

Refunds are made to your original payment method, unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee. Any lawful deduction for reduction in value will be explained.

Your bank or payment provider may need additional processing time before the refund appears. If you have questions about your refund, contact info@dvstudios.nl.
